Yoga is about internal health. Yoga is the most important practice that everyone can do to improve their state of wellbeing. Yoga is preventive maintenance, as it cleanses toxins from the internal organs, promoting all of your bodily systems to function better. When doing yoga properly, every cell in your body expands, enlivens. Yes, yoga tunes the physical body. Yoga increases strength, balance and flexibility simultaneously. Most importantly, yoga relaxes the mind, creating peace and clarity.
The best news is that yoga is easily attainable and right for everyone. The main themes of yoga are proper breathing, correct alignment, and expansive stretching, while bringing your complete awareness to the body. Paying attention to the body teaches about its limitations in any given moment. When you change your focus from resisting resistance to relaxing the breath & mind, the body can open, becoming stronger & more supple on its own. Greater range of motions in the joints, greater flexibility, balance & strength will take place during just this week long phenomenal vacation! (For those of you whom practice yoga, you will definitely learn ways to deepen and expand your practice.)
Besides improving physical health, more importantly you will learn how your breath is directly related to your state of mind. You will feel more peaceful, comfortable and confident. It is in this state where it is natural to feel joy, bliss and to be aware of the blessings that surround you every day. Life is wonderfully mysterious, and infinite. Finding the incredible joy in every moment, being fully and gladly alive allows us to cherish and celebrate every precious moment.
I deeply believe that yoga is the single most important practice that everyone should be doing for their wellbeing. My desire is to have each of you return with the ever lasting gift of learned ways to live your life to its optimal healthy potential, and with simple ways to live life in a more inspired, fun loving and productive journey.
